Hi

I have the same dog as displayed in the picture. Same colour, eyes, features and size.

Just wondering where you got him/her from as he/she could be the related to my male dog.

You will love Iceland
Read one of Arnaldur Indridason - an interesting Icelandic Detective and great environmental descriptors.
Don't forget Halldor Laxness (Independent People) - Iceland's Nobel Lauriate

No, I hadn't. (What a weird URL they've given it.) What did you think? It's characteristically righteous, right-hearted and rambly, but a bit lacking on detail and constructive policy suggestions.

I liked the comments too: 'Even though you are a scruffy oik who I hate because my wife fancies you, I agree with this.'

Glad to see a review, even if tepid, of this series. I am developing a habit of resisting popular book series that made into HBO shows, getting hooked on the show, then desperately devouring the books in order to figure out all it all went down in the original conceiver's imagination (well, come to think of it, True Blood may be the only example I can think of off hand but still...) I hear good things about the series (and totally agree re Sean Bean in armour. Yes please!) so can totally see myself watching the series at some point. The question is then - do I bother with the books - yes or no? Generally I prefer to read the books first (almost always better). In True Blood's case, I read the books after - which changes how I watch the show in both good and bad ways. So perhaps I ought to just watch the series. But since I will inevitably read the books if I watch the series, should I start now? They are so massive! They are so, well, medieval! But am I just resisting to be contrary? Anyway, thanks for the review - I shall re-visit before picking them up.
